Default Anyone having glare problems on their iPad? ...Problem SOLVED!
Hey guys, My biggest problem with the iPad is the GLARE! After countless hours of researching i found a company who sells an anti-glare screen protector for the iPad, i was skeptical at first then i googled for a review of said anti-glare screen and in the few reviews that i came across were all positive. So i ordered 2 of them, one for me and one for a friend of mine. The company promptly shipped the product and 5 days later i received it (today). The installation is very tricky as you can screw up very easily. After 20 min i finally got it on the iPad. I must say that it works AMAZING!! In direct sunlight you can't see any glare. I would highly recommend it to everyone here! I came across a few other companies who also sold a similar screen protector but this company i ordered from has a very good reputation. As they also sell iPhone / iPod Touch screen protectors. They have another screen protector for the iPad, they call it the crystal or something. What that one does is that rather than it being anti-glare, it just makes the screen more sharper. The iPad screen is amazing out of the box so don't order that one. The Anti-glare one is more practical. Below is the link. Enjoy!

Thats the one I use. I don't like how it makes the iPad screen very slightly blurry but you can't really avoid that if you want to anti-glare.

Though if I had known that earlier, I would have gone for a clear cover instead of an anti-glare cover.

Overall though, I think it is worth the money. The finger printing resistance is very good (but makes it harder to clean when the need arises).

I wouldn't buy another one if I had the choice, but I don't feel as if I wasted my money. After all I thought it was good enough to keep on

My screen didn't get blurry after the install :-S. It's the same actually. Maybe you got a defective unit. I have been using it all day and absolutely love it!

Do you mind sharing which one you bought? I am interested in this but generally find the crap off ebay to be "crap" I don't want to spend 25 bucks or more on a anti glare screen protector but the glare and fingerprints kill me.

    Was this hard to install?

I guess if it works for you then thats good ... Me personally i wouldn't mind paying a little extra to get a product from a reputable manufacturer. Then i have the peace of mind that i bought the best. With the ebay stuff almost 90% of the time you are getting some knockoff low quality china stuff that does not last very long or just dosnt get the job done right.

tried a few cheaper ones from ebay, amazon etc, they are not even in same league as Power Support. I finally paid the extra $$$ for power support, should have done it in the first place. I was extra careful, no dust, and perfect install the first time. any trapped air bubbles were easy to push out with my finger and a microfiber cloth.
Fingerprint resistance is so good with this protector, glare is greatly reduced. There is a slight trade off in image quality, it is slightly grainy or prismatic. you get used to it. It is much thicker than the cheap ones and is the best antiglare on the market at the moment.
I am very happy with mine....

I bought one. I just can't take criticism seriously when it's stated that the final result is something that's "very slightly blurry".

I bought one from Griffin before PowerSupport made theirs available. I have a PowerSupport screen on my iPhone.

The Griffin is OK, but not as nice as the PowerSupport protector on my iPhone. I may order one from PowerSupport in the future.
