Yep, I regret not getting the 32gig also. Apps for the iPad take up a lot more space compared to the iPhone apps. Then add movies and music and it is gone. I opt'd not to put music on my iPad to save space. I use pandora for my music at the moment on there.

I have a MBP and iPhone, like others have said, I barely use my MBP unless working on school work (microsoft office). After doing this I jsut place the items in dropbox and open using the iPad. (haven't tried a powerpoint yet)

It's portable and convenient for a traveling student. Library, on the road, home or whatever. The only drawback is it doesn't have print capability at the moment. You have to either email and attachment you created on it, or use one of the App store utilities which aren't that good from what I've read in the reviews. Hopefully Apple will come out with a printer driver that will allow connection to a wireless network printer in the near future. Other than that it's awesome!
    Dang lucky 6th grader.

I'm in middle school and would love to have a parent like you. LOL

Colorado, you will not be disappointed. I got mine this week. I jb it day one, and almost haven't used my iPhone except for tethering, texting and calling. What is extremely surprising is it's battery life, I use low brightness with Bluetooth off and I'm getting 12+ hrs usage time.

The iPad is a device that you don't really need but for some reason you want one anyway.
Once you get it, you just want to use it all the time.

Says you! I sold my iPhone and my netbook to get my 64gb 3G and love it. I needed it for my computing needs. If I need to Photoshop or anything super heavy like that, i just use my lady's Vaio notebook. It made my netbook look like a sorry little machine! The speed of the device, even with some MS add-ons (Winterboard, SBSettings, etc) there is no compromise like there was on iPhone. I like this even more than my iPhone, and will even more when my case and screen protector come in the mail. I can type accurately at probably 17-20 wpm right now. The keyboard is just so nice, the apps are great and my HD movies look good too.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Thanks, Herbiek! Based on the reviews here, I am now really confident that I made a great purchase! Some of my pals think otherwise, but I'm sure it's just envy.

Now, what to do with my Netbook... I need to find some sucker.
