Just leave it in sleep mode. Turning it on and off uses more battery.

It is built like the iPhone so I say just leave it on. That is what I am doing. Sleep kicks in after 5 mins. It is an Apple product; it doesn't have to be rebooted or turned off nearly as much as other devices. Minus Linux or Unix or BSD I guess.

If you have SBSettings installed than you can kill all processes you are not using, then put it to sleep. Would save you even MORE battery.
