Default Converting divx/avi files for ipad?
I am on a mac, I ripped my dvd of surrogates into avi format but I tried converting it once to mp4 and resulted in no sound. Can I convert divx avi's into mp4 with sound for the ipad?

OP: You should search these forums, there are plenty of threads that ask this very question, over and over.

I use Handbrake, it works great, is very powerful yet simple for novice users and is free on top of all of that! You can also try using apps such as Gplayer or Cinexplayer (App Store), they boast the ability to play divx/xvid, mkv, etc.
