Question iPad 3G in Australia possible?
    Hello all
Just wanted to know if any of you know or can confirm that the new iPad 3G (US Version) will be able to work in Australia's 3G networks once unlocked? My brother lives there and he wants one but not sure if it will work once unlocked.

    Thanks in advanced

It will probably be one of those things we have to wait and see. Make sure the frequencies are the same from the tech page of iPad 3G on apple. If they are then the chances are good I would think, if it gets unlocked.

Its not locked and the iPhone's 3G works there so I would think the iPads would too

You probably missed the bit where Steve Jobs said that the iPad would not be locked?
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
