    I would like to know if you will be able to plug your iphone right into the ipad or do you have to use a macbook or computer to transfer things from one to the other.

    if you can't that is definatly annoying. but I still want on real bad.

    everything syncs from your macbook. Contacts, calendar, and others can sync via mobileme

    yeah thats if none of us can afford Mobile Me. but yes i would assume you just hook up it to your mac and sync just like a regular ipod. I really wish it was Standalone that sucks

    Maybe we can sync via Bluetooth to do it. A little slow but workable? My thought is that it was mentioned that iTunes would be run from the iPad. If that is true then how would you save the data as a backup to another computer?
