I cant wait till someone drops this huge ***** lol They def will be coming out with some Cases. Can you imagine Invisible Shield coming out with there screen protector lol It seems at a 1.5lbs seems flimsy to me.....id want one but already have a Macbook and an iPhone. One day ill get rid of my macbook and get an iMac and an iPad

You would have about the same drop damage that you could have with a light weight laptop. It depends upon what kind of user you are. Some people drop their iPhones and damage them. Personally, I think that the iPhone is a solidly built device and I would think that the iPad would be the same.
