i would hope so but wouldnt we need to know how to jailbreak a the newer 3Gs without tether jailbreak before this could be jailbroken, i assume apple put the same security, or even strong security on it.

It can be jailbroken and it will. It just won't be released to the public til after iPhone 4.

i think they should just integrate this screen into a pro or soemthing i would rather have it be a screen that can rotate and close and thus be like a heavy ipad haha or be like a normal laptop that you can use the screen to draw stuff or whatever.

This sounds like a project GeoHot will take on. If he can jailbreak the iPad, I assume the newest model of the 3GS and the 4th Gen iPhone will be made up the same way, so everything could be opened up...

Yeah, a jailbreak on this would be great. Honestly two biggest features for myself of will be a way to save files to it (then do a ssh transfer to get them worst case) and multitasking.

hence a big reason I wont touch it, Im sick of them telling me what I can or cant do with a product I buy. Its like a car company saying you cant supe up your own car.

can it? i thought the last news on jailbreaking said that the new 3Gs's are still teathered jailbreak i have a 3Gs that is unteathered jailbreak but i got it when the 3Gs came out basically.

Officially its still a tethered jailbreak. The untethered jailbreak will not be released for some time.
