BLUETOOTH: I think it's time for action...

there is a bluetooth adapter that probably would allow a2dp. what i noticed when i was calling someone is that i accidently started up tap tap revenge and i heard music while i was on the call and my girlfriend said she didn't hear anything. weird huh? but what do i know? i'm only 16 years old. here's my 2 cents on it lol.

Hmm, I'll change it to USD, since it's more universal...
I would have thought PayPal would convert it to your countries currency...

Alternatively, you can go here: XE - The World's Favorite Currency and Foreign Exchange Site, convert your amount willing to donate from USD to AUD and insert the AUD figure into paypal...

EDIT: I will be making a new thread dedicated to development, rather than just discussion like this one has been...

Well I for one am willing to donate. All I want is to be able to listen to music via bluetooth- whether it be A2dp or the LQ mono you hear when you play music during a call. Considering that music can already play via the VVoicemail trick on the old phone, would it be sooo hard to make the same thing work all the time and for all the phones (particularly the 3G).

I will donate $25 to whomever first makes this possible.

Let's keep this thread going guys! This is a great idea, and maybe if enough of us make some noise, we can get some attention to it! Stereo Bluetooth, File Transfer, etc.. would be great additions to an awesome phone. I am still stunned that an Apple iPhone, WITH AN IPOD, did not have Stereo Bluetooth in the first place....very foolish of Apple, or they are saving some stuff for future version of the phone..... Guess if they loaded everything into the first one, no one would bother buying any other one, huh???

are we sure that these profiles don;t cost royalties to implement? ie apple hasn't implemented them because they feel it is not worth paying the royalties (and perhaps would be illegal for a third party to implement without also paying royalties).... this is by no means confirmed, just a thought

i think if it were as simply as that we would have it working by now. it is illegal to run a lot of software without a royalty but a simple google will find you 100's of sites hosting such software etc...

bt profiles are unique... they have not been written for the iphone (which is what we are doing) so there is no copy write on them... It isnt just "that simple" hints why we are working hard... b4 now no one has been as dedicated as us... we will do our best to get this done...
