maybe it is not new, what I just found out is you need customize, iphonebrowser, or ibrickr, and any .wav soundfile, you like to have as SMS sound.
In iphonebrowser goto VAR/root/cusomize/audiofiles
in here create a new folder, this folder will show up in customize, under sound,

Indeed of converting the wav file, just rename the exstension to .aif and drag it into the sound folder you created, now goto customize select it and you are done, you will not hear the sound when you select it, but it will work hope I could help someone

I've been trying this for 2 weeks. Don't have: var/root/customize/audiofiles

I have the following:

var/root/library...

var/mobile/library/AudioBackup

applications/customize/(No audio files listed)

Application/System/Library/Audio/UISounds


any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

whenever i open iPhoneBrowser it says iPhone connected; not jailbroken.
and i unlocked it using ziphone, so its unlocked and jailbroken because im using it on Rogers Wireless. so any ideas why this doesn't work?

also i tried to use iBrickr and it wants me to revert to 1.0.2 and i'm not doing that!! I'm on 1.1.4 now and i love it!

please help!
