can you add a section in your SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist for system UI sounds volume?
i want my system sounds volume to be low/adjustable, seperate from the volume controls for ringer/ect.

this is so cool , it works fine and sound is sooooo nice (better than the default 1.0.2 FW)

i applied these files to my 1.0.2 phone after being disgusted with the volume. And i mean it was barely audible. After applying the files, at first i didnt notice a difference, i placed a call and put it on speakerphone and that seemed loud..all of a sudden it wasnt on speakerphone anymore (dont ask me how that happened) and i held it up to my ear and it was crystal clear!!! 200% improvement!! Thanks so much!!

I am a bit confused with the file locations...etc...etc.
Can you help to elaborate in more detail.
BTW, I am using IBrickr to see the file lists. It has too many directories...so Now confused.
I have downloaded your mentioned files, but have not done the upload...etc cause got confused.
Please help.

Install Instructions:
1). Copy the com.apple.celestial.plist file to /var/root/Library/Preferences/ <-(possibly in ibrikr or whatever it is, it could start you in just Library and not list Var/Root- I know FUGU just starts me @ Root - a window looking at two files....Library and Media)

2). Copy the SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist file to /System/Library/Frameworks/Celestial.framework/ <- This is the Main tree. It sould list Applications Folder at the top, followed by several other files/directories.....find System and then continue on through the list

3). Goto Settings > iPod > (switch off: Sound Check)

4). Reboot your iPhone.

....that's what the whole thread is about. Testing, tweaking, and improving the mod.

you can DL a plist editor from the internet and modify it yourself, test it, and share your results.

use this link http://140.124.181.188/~khchung/cgi-bin/plutil.cgi

it will convert the binary .plist into a readable file. then you can open it in notepad/wordpad

Nope I get the following error on that "The file format of ._com.apple.celestial.plist is mis-match!"

Can someone else help or maybe post the latest version of the files that people say works weel

i did this the spekerfone volume hs increasd but wht abt d ear piece??the vol iz still 2 low...ne idea hw 2 increase tht...thnx
