I can email you the files.
I can tell a big difference. I will compare it to my mothers phone, I have been modding hers as well. I use hers to compare for before and after. very handy

Okay I'm kinda of a noob to this. My iphone volume sucks and it seems that everyone who is doing this mod has helped a lot. Can someone pm me step by step instructions on what I'm supposed to do. I have ibricker and I'm on a windows vista cpu if that matter any? I have 1.0.2 software. Thanks

One thing I am still confused about is:
1. Which Plist file are we editing to increase the sound?
2. What values in that plist file are we edditing?
3. What is the max setting before the speaker blows up?
If anyone can answer these 3 questions I thank you greatly-Shai Perednik

ReVan directions are DEAD ON. If u follow his directions on the 1st post on the first page u will have no problems whatsoever. If u want to get daring then u can edit the file yourself and see what results u get but it is not necessary to edit anything. Just use iBrikr and replace those files.

To add to the above post.
Delete the two files FIRST don't just copy them onto the phone and select the option of overwrite.....
Why
I don't know, it's in the instructions on the OP and that's exactly what I did.
As for the max vol. before it explodes  on my files that I sent to ReVan
some were set to 4.5 and 5 on the SystemMaxVol.
and I think I set some onthe other file to 1.5 and 2
My intentions of modding the Files were to possible make the Ringtone Louder - and the Headset louder.
I changed a few others slightly from 3.5 to 4. just going up in small increments - re booting the phone and testing. then increasing. I stopped at 5, it was getting late

I downgraded back to 1.0.2 and gave this a test run last night. I was thoroughly impressed.
The volume enhancements seem far better than Apple's in 1.1.1. Oh, and I find a great way to get volume improvement in your ringtones, is to add an effect like amplify in Audacity whille creating them. I got one to be loud enough to startle me. lol

I had installed 1.2 and could tell a difference right away. Dial pad was a bit to loud for my taste but after I replaced my files with the 1.3 upgrade I am very satisfied... Thanks!!

ReVan did an excellent job. I haven't had a chance to work with the .plist tonight.
Ive been playing with the new customize update, and trying to get the bugs worked out.
Ill try later tonight or tomorrow.
I still want the headset louder......you can always use the Volume button to make it softer.
