works for me, I dont use a headset but installed the quiet dialpads just incase.
Everything except the speakerphone is definately louder!

ok, have the plist files oppend. what am I chaning and is there a max before you blow the speaker up?

anyone have the de-crypted original file?

I have the 1.1.1 installed. I downloaded and installed these files and I cant tell a difference in the ringtone, beatbox, or speaker. Maybe the 1.1.1 firmware is the same volume as these files. I dont know. I did download the one with the normal keypad because I put the regular file on mine the other night when I still had the 1.0.2 and the keypad was obnoxious. It was almost like a bad joke in public! Anyone else notice a difference in 1.1.1?

i have a question. i have downloaded the files on my pc. and the i used Ibrickr to upload them on the Iphone and i can`t see any diference. must i mod the files first?

On the com.apple.celestial.plist i have :

well with that string you posted it should blow your ears off with the headphone plugged in sounds sould be omg loud

This mod works great. If you dont follow the instructions and do this mod on your phone. You are missing out. Great job keep up the good work every one.

Even the keypad sound is way better.

ok i got the dialer voice waay louder and i like it but my speakerphone and ringtone are still normal lowness, how can i fix that? and how do you edit your plist? im not a newbie i just cant figure how to edit the .plist

I have the same question. can someone detail what each of the plist values do and exactly how to change it. Is there a max #?

just because i ride too..dont go higher than3.5 and stock values are at like.5..headphone is your headphone sounds, headset bluetooth sounds, lineout like when you connect it to a car deck with ipod hook ups .headphone values should be set at max 1.0 .,oh and, default is the system sounds ,touchtone dialpad sounds test to likeing and if your .plist is binary cod e(cant read it) http://140.124.181.188/~khchung/cgi-bin/plutil.cgi this will convert it to xml

but I am running OSX what can I open the .plist with to edit the settings?

This works great just want the headset a little higher, I guess Im deaf.

BTW when I open the .plist it opens in Omni Outliner. Is this correct?
