Any way to install from Windows? Can you post what the opened files look like so I could simply edit mine directly on the iPhone with mobile finder / mobile text editor? If I try to simply drag the files in the correct location on the iPhone using iSpit to connect to it via WiFi but it simply does not accept the files.
Either way, thanks!
(oh, the main reason I want to try this is also because my keyboard clicks and lock / unlock clicks suddenly stopped working?? Every other sound works fine, not those. I normally keep it muted anyhow, but its one of those things that annoy you just knowing its broke :-)).

I installed iVolume 1.3 on 1.1.1
I installed iVolume 1.3 on 1.1.1.
Here are my findings:
The lock and unlock sound( I guess system sounds)Sound louder on the phone and wayyy to loud on the headphones.
Ringtones sound a bit louder, clearer.
The iPod(Music) sounds a bit louder on the speaker and insanely loud on the headphones.
Youtube sounds a bit louder on the speaker and louder on the headphones
Speakerphone sounds a bit louder, clearer.
What has not changed is the volume when talking on the phone through the earpiece. Using the headphones-- wayyy to loud thoughLast edited by dalethefarmer; 12-12-2007 at 09:12 PM.

Nope.
Sorry, it didn't do anything for me. I removed it to hear the comparison and it's the same. Guess I'll have to wait...

Wow!!!
I damn near blew out my eardrums on the headphones!!!
This is great!
I a running 1.1.2, porting in using WinSCP
I liked Version 1.3 the best, it does make a difference.
I did do something different though. In /system/library I have a celestial.framework folder, I also have one in the frameworks folder. So I put the max volume file in both and it seemed to work. Also I deleted the files before replacing so that there was no way for the old one to take priority.
Thanks for this great file.

Got 1.1.2.. There was a difference first day..
The other day the original files replaced again and I can't modify these files anymore.. They always got backed up to original ones.. Any suggestion?
Thanks.

Hey I have a iphone bought with 1.1.2 and now running with 1.1.4. I just tried this guide, but the sound doesn't get any louder. The dialpad sound is much louder, but everything else is just as low. Does anyone know what I have to do to make the sound louder?
