[HACK] Volume/Speakerphone/Ringtone Loudness for v1.0.2

i have the 1.1.1 and i installed the 1.3 and tryed the 1.2 and still sounds weak the speaker phone is not loud enough i needs to be as loud as my ipod music plays!!! i tryed to edit the plists to integer 5 and not difference is there another file that effects sound for 1.1.1. anyone know?

On 1.0.2 here. Used the 1.3 version. No noticeable volume difference here, unfortunately.....

I installed the iVolume 1.3 and compare it to my original files, I couldnt feel a difference..

Could someone increase the value of those files in version 1.3 and post here please?

Could you tell me which program do I use to edit PLIST in Windows PC (vista) ?

ive just done this, exactly as the instructions say. I turned off my phone to restart it and now it will not get passsed the apple logo screen.

WTF happened? Is there anything i can do so i dont have to restore it? Anyway i can still get into the file system of the phone and replace the 2 files?(i saved them)

tried 1.3, with 1.0.2 firmware.

can someone explain the methods for modding these i am having no luck with getting the speaker volume louder but the key pad dialer gets way louder with 1.2 but i dont under stand how

Can someone upload another version where the Speaker for the iPod music is REALLY LOUD? My co-worker was playing music from his phone across the room and I could hear it. Then when I was playing my music he's like "Turn it up......oh, it is up." which pisses me off.

really my ipod music plays pretty loud through the speaker its just the speaker phone that is like 1/3 the volume of the ipod.

well do you notice anthing on what yall are editing,,,what the key describes it controlling......lol....it say touchtone...that is the dial pad..lol...

ya i know that obviously but im talking about the integers why when you set the key pad to 3.5 its loud but to make it soft its 0.123 whats the reasoning behind these values and why are some of them like 10 numbers long ???? i have changed the vaules for the phone calls sections and nothing changes at all!! the only values that seem to make a difference are the dial tones ??


PS i have 1.1.1 how do i attempt to edit my own plist they seem to be encoded i cannot open them in word like the ones uploaded on this thread.

i searched on these forums as well as others regarding 1.1.1 phones and iVolume.
Most ppl say they do not notice any volume difference due to this hack, can anyone say it does indeed work for them??

my volume is very low and i would like to improve on it, but since most people say it did nothing for them, why even bother doing it...

Tried 1.3 on my 1.1 Firmware Iphone, not much a difference, I did notice some but still the earpiece and speakerphone are not loud enough, anyone have a fix they can share here

I'm using 1.3 on my 1.0.2 iphone
but i dont notice any change in speakerphone,keypad,or rigner tone,
but when i plugged an earphone, it become much more louder ( i meand the sound the that come out from the (earphone)
anyone knows why ?

Can someone edit the plist files and make it a bit louder than 1.3? The speakerphone that is... whenever I play music outside, you can barely hear it. I just want it to be as loud as it can be without blowing the speaker.

Ive edited the plist in the 9s on all settings.

I have said for weeks, there has to be a 3rd or (4th-5th-6th) files that limit the volumes.

1.3 is louder in areas. Im the one who adjusted it from the 1.12 -> and I installed it on my iPhone - and sat a 2nd iphone (with the factory settings) next to it and compared.

Its not blow your socks off loud - but there is a difference.

For Ringtones - I have made them pretty loud, but adjusting Vol. Limits when creating them using iTunes, and hijack.

i found a little improvement except the SPEAKERPHONE...

im not expecting too much coz this is a one speaker phone.


HOPE THERE WILL BE AN UPDATED FILE that can have a great CHANGE on the sounds.
