All those have same for me too. Must just be an anomaly for his location between the different feeds I guess.

Hey there. I never used the Widget Weather before. So I followed the steps to install the tweak. I have a problem. My native weather app doesn't open anymore. I am not sure what I did wrong. Is there a fix for this. Can someone help me out. Thanks very much.

    Edit. Never mind fixed it.

    Hi all,

I have seen this few weeks ago. It seems that the stock weather app report a wrong moon phase sometimes.
    It's not a WW problem.

My last full moon lasted three days

My themes : Jade HD, Silex HD, BaSalt HD,ToPaz
All are on Cydia and/or Theme It.

I don't personally use these codes but as far as I know, in the XML file we just get the numeric code for the moon phase. Not sure where in the Apple weather app it stores the descriptions for these codes but we just get the numeric code in the xml file (not the description) so we have to translate it.
    Code:
      <sunrisetime>06:08</sunrisetime>
      <moonphase>1</moonphase>
      <moonfacevisible>0.4%</moonfacevisible>
In Marty's "translation.js" file you can see the corresponding descriptions, basically you can make them say whatever you like, in my opinion you're correct to change code "0" (the first one) to "Dark Moon" or "New Moon" is also ok (better than "Not Used").

Basically New Moon and Dark moon are the same thing, the New Moon is sometimes referred to as the Dark moon to avoid confusion as some people are under the impression that a "New Moon" should be big & bright.

    Code:
    var MoonDesc = [
    	"Not Used",
    	"New Moon",
    	"Waxing Crescent",
    	"Waxing Crescent",
    	"Waxing Crescent",
    	"Waxing Crescent",
    	"Waxing Crescent",
    	"First Quarter",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Waxing Gibbous",
    	"Full Moon",
    	"Waning Gibbous",
    	"Waning Gibbous",
    	"Waning Gibbous",
    	"Waning Gibbous",
    	"Waning Gibbous",

    	"Last Quarter",
    	"Waning Crescent",
    	"Waning Crescent",
    	"Waning Crescent",
    	"Waning Crescent",
    	"Waning Crescent",
    	"Waning Crescent"
    ];
Forgive me if I'm completely wrong about this.

Thanks. But which one would you like? There are 7 individual iWidgets there and UniAW6.4WW_SB for the walls and weather in background. Which do you want?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

Wall & Background are part of UniAW6.4. In Config.js make sure you have "Timedwalls" on.

All of the iWidgets are from the Tweaks/ iWidgets thread I'll see if I can find the post where Drifter's Independent Elements 8.1 iWidgets are.

The one that shows City and Location is one of mine and posted in this thread. I'll get it to you very shortly.

    Exactly right Ian
Apple actually only seeks a code from Yahoo for the stock app.
The code corresponds to their moon images they display in app at night that the weather condition image displays over. They don't use text documentation for the phase at all.

    Hi all,

    Link updated again

Thanks for the support. I noticed the McFly mod has been downloaded 289 times since around noon yesterday. I'm thrilled that so many people are trying it out

Here are the changes this time round....

    1) I removed the XML check/update fader. Now it only shows static the last XML update time.

    2) "Feels Like" Temperature is now using Accuweather's "ReelFeel" which I always found quite amazing (much more accurate then Yahoo's). Accuweather is quite proud of it (lol):

The AccuWeather RealFeel Temperature - Outdoor - AccuWeather.com

    3) I fixed the 'city name' so Ian's 'red' function will now work (won't work in older McFly links). Personally I love this little feature (thanks Ian!)

By the way, here is a picture of what it looks like when Neighborhood and City are blank:

    -photo.png

    Download link: WidgetWeather UniAW6.4 McFly.theme.zip

    Enjoy!

Sorry for this, but this somehow has a certain relevance.
Please read Behind the Art of iOS Theming with Sk37cH : iOSthemes.
It is the source for articles like this one Saurik: there’s “very little hope” that WinterBoard will support iOS 7.
To summarise it is a possibility that Winterboard might not work any more in iOS7. Saurik, creator of Winterboard, puts it down to a lack of constructive feedback from the theme creators.
    So, guys, there you are!
If you want custom themes in iOS7 (once iOS 7 has been jailbroken), you better start to establish a fruiting communication between the people that create Winterboard and the people that use Winterboard for their theme creations.

We were just discussing this the other day.
GroovyCarrot, Jato and KoH have been involved in some aspect as of now.
    Few others maybe too.
But yeah Winterboard will need a significant overhaul to work fully on iOS 7. The ways iOS 7 gets a lot of images is very different from iOS 6.

I personally think if WyndWarrior got together with Saurik we would see a really improved Winterboard

    "hopes and dreams"

"WinterDream" a new way to theme iOS
