    Wallpaper moves with gyroscope this time. So instead of tilting device back, forth, left or right, the wallpaper moves as you move the device around yourself. Still a little buggy (especially when twisting too far and thus resching wallpaper end) but works pretty well.
    Great work Simon. Don't worry about it being a little buggy. For a "rank noob" you should be proud.

    Thanks for your help
    For the blur effect, I missed out some lines in the main.js file:

    Look for this:
    Code:
    function touchEnd(event) {
    	event.preventDefault();
    	if (extradisplay == false) {
    		document.getElementById("MainContainer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("MoveContainer").className = "MoveContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraContainer").className = "MoveContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ForecastTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("Layer").className = "blurry";
    		extradisplay = true;
    		} else {
    		document.getElementById("MainContainer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("MoveContainer").className = "MoveContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraContainer").className = "MoveContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ForecastTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("Layer").className = "";
    		extradisplay = false;
    	}
    }

    Change it to this:
    Code:
    function touchEnd(event) {
    	event.preventDefault();
    	if (extradisplay == false) {
    		document.getElementById("MainContainer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("MoveContainer").className = "MoveContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraContainer").className = "MoveContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ForecastTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerUp";
    		document.getElementById("Layer").className = "blurry";
    		document.getElementById("WPContainerTW").className = "blurry";
    		extradisplay = true;
    		} else {
    		document.getElementById("MainContainer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("MoveContainer").className = "MoveContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraContainer").className = "MoveContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ForecastTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("ExtraTouchLayer").className = "MainContainerDown";
    		document.getElementById("Layer").className = "";
    		document.getElementById("WPContainerTW").className = "";
    		extradisplay = false;
    	}
    }

    Default Newd's first "really useful" creation - I hope
    Okay WW-loving gang... I think I may have something useful for some of you. After staring at code by The.Drifter, Durben, Dacal & Ian for days now as to how to access the XML file and reading even more about 'operators', blah, blah, blah - I have what I hope will be a treat for some of you.

    It's based on The.Drifter "Independent Element series" he did for us in the iWidgets thread - where each element of the weather can be made a separate element for placement anywhere on your screen. I'm MOST fascinated by the city data available from the new tweak. So I created a City iWidget that has an alternate Line 2 that will give you, in the US, your township (for the suburbs) or your borough/section of a large city.
    I call it Newd_City+AltLoc(WW).
    • Option for displaying ONLY the city (no Line 2)
    • Option for adding the word "Township" to Line 2 - if you're mostly in US suburbs and you know for sure the alternate location name you're seeing is a "township" name.
    • I've coded it so it knows from the XML's organization of information whether you're in a suburb or borough/section of a large city. This iWidget should do some fancy selecting too when you're other places around the globe than the US - though I have a harder time testing that. Please let me know!

    Credits:
    •For code 'primers' - The.Drifter, The_Durben, Dacal & Ian Nicoll
    •For Independent Element model - The.Drifter

    Hope you enjoy this. Durben and King, since it's an iWidget - if you prefer Simon move this post to the iWidgets thread. That's fine with me.

    Have fun! I will eventually add more fonts in the options.plist.
    http://db.tt/eRlHsrFI

    One other thing... I've noticed - that if you're using Manual Mode or Semi - the Weather.app is fond of using County Names as cities often. In Semi and Manual I see a lot more 'County names' on Line 1. I always use Constant Mode - so I get a more accurate city name - in my early observations here. I'm not sure why Weather.app is so fond of County Names over the actual city name.

    Default UniAW6.4_LS (WW).theme with hourly forecast!
    Hi Everyone,

    Here is "UniAW6.4_LS (WW).theme" from page #1 with touch/slide hourly forecast added. Thanks to Ian and Dacal for UniAW and thanks to Dacal for the hourly slide code! I would love to see some mods out there include the hourly forecast that WW provides so I wanted to release an 'unmodded' WW version of UniAW with nothing but that added (I guess that makes it a modded version - lol).

    This should be good for i4 AND i5

    This video is i4:

    Here is a screenshot of i5:

    Widget Weather-new-1.png

    Please let me know if you have any issues with it. Not coded for offline or demo mode.

    Download link: WidgetWeather UniAW6.4 (hourly).theme.zip

    Enjoy!

    P.S. I know the Daisy overlaps the hourly forecast on the i4 version - was too tired to go on tonight.
    P.S. Max/McFly mod of this coming soon

    Ok guys here's my BaSalt iWidget Touch I had did for it a while back so made it WW now! It has the Offline code in it that Dacal give us, many thanks my friend you know I've been waiting for this lol... Also I used his fontColor code so it changes color of text between day and night! It's really cool. You'll have to put what color you want for night in css it's white by default, and Dacal had helped me fix my LS for the extraLocCity, neighborhood so I put it in this in the options and thanks to my bud Derrick for the option help with that lol.. Again thanks to Stephen for this awesome tweak!! hope you like it.
    P.S go help out and get Ezra2 theme for a good cause! Thanks

    This is the way I use Durben's base widget to get my city, neighborhood and county names together...
    Placing the base widget in UniAW as a frame
    Maybe adding these codes in UniAW will be useful for some users...
