Yep.. Neighborhood worked same for me in MyLocation. Widget Weather has so many more options.

But I was in Philly today on my bike trail I often ride. Right inside limits of Philadelphia proper. An area called "Manayunk". All city name options in the XML said Philadelphia - but extraLocNeighborhood said: Manayunk.

Neighborhood in WW in the US is for sections/ boroughs of large cities only.

Yeah M8, but I think Dacal will be posting a version with SlideShow & TimedWalls soon, I think it's something to do with Dacal using "Layer" for the weatherwalls and for the blurry effect, then in the timedwalls I hide the "Layer" div + maybe z-indexes need adjusting.

I'm sure all will be ok in Dacal's version.

As for the freezing raindrops, I don't know.

My "name" "city" and "extraLocCity" are almost always the same.
There's a few areas here where it will change (name only)

State we don't have in Canada. It's a province. So state returns the province here.
Thanks, D. Hey - do you remember what you guys were getting after - when you designed the XML to return those first two fields, 'name' AND 'city'?? What's the difference between those two? They've been identical in all WOEID's I've messed with. Do you know of any scenario where they'd return something different?
Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

I have not seen a different one on those two yet.
Quite simply why they are there is apple uses both in their weather.plist that communicates with the app. We just retrieve that info. I honestly don't know why they would include both though.

    Okay.. Makes sense.. Thanks!

Hey is it correct what I'm noticing - that when you go into Fixed mode - and enter a WOEID - all the information at the top of the XML gets updated - but all the stuff from extraLoc -- isn't always accurate? Like when I put in your WOEID -- my extraLocNeighborhood still said my hometown here.. And not Queensboro where you are. I'm guessing WOEID can only pull so much of the data.. Not quite as exacting as GPS coordinates pulled from Constant mode?

It will change but not right away sometimes.
As you are strictly using woeid I believe it waits until the next update interval where it will change that info.
It's not a big deal as entering a woeid will give you the city you selected and its weather.
    But it will change.

See below. This is after entering woeid for New York

    <currentcondition>
    <name>New York</name>
    <city>New York</city>

Wallpaper moves with gyroscope this time. So instead of tilting device back, forth, left or right, the wallpaper moves as you move the device around yourself. Still a little buggy (especially when twisting too far and thus resching wallpaper end) but works pretty well.

Great work Simon. Don't worry about it being a little buggy. For a "rank noob" you should be proud.
