The new UniAW will LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME as your old UNIAW did. Identical. So you shouldn't be looking for any changes - in LOOK.. There's just a different 'engine driving the car'. The TWEAK is now sending location data to UniAW. Understand?

It was indeed a scary moment.. Luckily Simon's a nice guy and they run the forum believing in good intentions. And Simon knew, at heart, I'm not a SpamBot. LOL!!!! Though, as you'd well imagine, my "established personality" has INDEED gotten me banned from a couple of other forums.... They just didn't "get me".
Thanks man, now i understand it,i was trying to find differences in the theme but now you ve clear it!Thanks again

It will take some time to get use to this feature! But what a great feature it is!

    Check out WW2 for iOS 8 - Widget-Weather 2.0

OH YES!! The C versus F for temperature type and the 12/24 hr - are amazing to have all in the tweak. Makes you start to wonder what ELSE would make life a LOT easier for the widget user to have in the tweak rather than ever have to use that config.js - for major things. For example almost everywhere in the world where they use C for temp they also use millibars for Barometric pressure. And F places use inches of Mercury.. The tricky one is that some places use C for temp and miles per hour for wind instead of the expected kilometers per hour.. But it seems to me a LOT more could be included in the tweak.

But baby steps. It's still an amazing accomplishment you and D and Stephen have achieved. Totally game changing for weather widgets.

Ok guys, first of all thank you king, rko, decal for the responses. I was able to change it to times walls on the SB and used Rko's recommendation for the 12hr time and it works, I think/hope . Everything looks like its working fine so not sure what closing Decal is referring to and one thing is for sure I'm no coder so I don't know what implications my way of doing it are. I'm just about done with it but remember its my cut/paste/as questions approach not a coding approach again, thanks all.

I still can't get TimedWalls on the SB.. Can someone tell me specific steps? Tried changing the var in beginning of Uniaw.js. Didn't work.

Ok guys here it is. All credit goes to creators (sorry hate to put it this way but between the Uniaw crew and weather widget crew I didn't wanna miss anyone). I didnt inlude the timed walls due to download time so you will have to copy the ones in uniaw 6.4 into this mod (thanks newdestinyX)It should be good to go and same as Ferlops original mod but with Weather Widget code (no more my location app) enjoy and let me know if I missed something.

    Best,
Great.. You might want to remind people that you haven't included the TimedWalls folder IN this mod. That people will have to copy it into this folder from UniAW's Images folder from another version of UniAW they have. Right?

The HTC One Xtra is coming along nicely. I have one nagging problem though. I need the clock elements like hours, minutes, and am/pm to be able to be moved and sized independently from one another. Also I need some way to hide the colon. Otherwise it doesn't fit the flip clock background. I've tried using code from other widgets but it hasn't worked for me yet. Any help with this is appreciated. I've included a photo and a download link for the widget.

    DigitalClock and clock

Simple way is to use display:none; in the CSS for them

Then just add additional scripts for a working flip clock in a clock.js or something like that and add it in place of the built in clock

Can I use display none and add code like pictured below to the CSS. ImageUploadedByModMyi1376954258.875022.jpg

I'm not going for an animated flip clock (as far as I know that's the only reason for a clock.js) I am a noob though. I just need the elements to be displayed separately. The code above is from another htc widget. My widget is made from the base theme on page 1 of the thread. Also if I can add this to the CSS, I'm assuming I'll have to add it in the HTML as well? Main.js?

On a side note, for man as busy as you Durben, you always respond. You're a real swell guy!👍

I just changed the base lock to have hours and minutes separate. With no tiret (
Haven't tested fully but should be working.
In the js the function updateclock is changed
In the html under digitalclock is changed and those changes reflect in the css
You'll only need change where the hours and minutes are displayed (adding top and left values to the css for them)

comes from the stock Weather-Widget of the Notification Center, cause i have set
it to update every 15 mins.

Another thing is, this widget is for getting weather infos, and throw them out to
any widget that supports that xml file, that is stored in the documents folder.
What is the difference to a normal UNiAW that has the infos in a config file,
for getting the weather infos, with gps=false, and a woeid?
The weather update interval is set in the tweak settings. That is how often it will update the information.
Manual option is to get your city. Manual meaning you need to open the weather app or pull down NC to change the location. Semi and Constant will automatically change your location.
This is all noted on the first post.

The difference is this tweak gets your location and weather information from the built in resources in the iPhone like location services and the weather dylib.

Other widgets use the web to request the information through api's and or with a combination of using the MyLocation app.

If you want your weather to update put it on constant and you want have to open the weather app it's better to me

Location Update settings are for updating the city.
The weather for whatever method you use will always update at the set interval for your current city.

^ better way to explain I think

When you use a woeid, your location never changes with your current physical location.

This tweak gets its info from that XML file while the other versions of UniAW accesses the Internet to get its data

    That is the short explanation!
