    iPad's with Siri have the same core weather foundations and location services on iOS 6
    It's just a matter of utilizing those libraries for the info send/retrieval if possible.

    LockBackground.html to Widget.html
    Add a Widget.plist for your size and start moving things around.

    Really not an easy way to explain this. You do need to know your way around an html and the js if your making major changes.
    It's ok, you gave me what I needed. I already have a LS functioning as an iWidget thanks to you. Now it just seems like I got a lot of elements to move around and tinker with, and some backgrounds to make and perfect.

    Just a note to people who are/will be modding these.
    You will need to leave the sunset/sunrise codes in the js
    Even if you are not displaying them. They are also tied to weather icons to ensure proper reporting of day/night conditions.

    Yahoo does some weird things sometimes. Example, my weather app shows a night time icon at about 3pm every day. This code change we added (Dacal when I told him of the issue) changes them to display properly.

    Remember to look in the base lockscreen main.js
    It has a lot of elements explained

    ---------------------------------------------

    Grant just change these as needed in the main.js

    In function deal with weather

    document.getElementById("neighborhood").innerHTML = obj.neighborhood;

    ^ that's fine

    In the find currentcondition each function find this line

    obj.neighborhood =$(this).find('extraLocNeighborhood').text();

    Change to

    obj.neighborhood =$(this).find('extraLocCounty').text();

    This will display whatever the xml has for
    <extraLocCounty>xxxxxx</extraLocCounty>

    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    For those of you that have paid iWidget packs on Cydia, do you plan to update them to work with this, or will they stay with the MyLocation format?

    First post updated with new deb

    Version 1.4-5

    The base lock is packaged with it. No separate download needed.

    There is a rough "de-bugging" part in this version.

    If your experiencing problems, crashes, ect
    Turn on Logging in the settings options for the tweak
    You should also install syslog from cydia
    These files will provide information after a crash that is helpful to find any bugs.

    Glad you're all enjoying this tweak

    I'm not updating mine. Too much work and won't work for all the thousands who downloaded mine.
    That would be a disaster from a support standpoint

    I will be putting up a Widget Weather package with a lock or two and some iWidgets
    Mostly ones that use my custom icons I've made. One of the locks is combo work from myself and barsoverbeats

    Durben,
    A few pages back you asked me for my WOEID and then were able to see all the extra neighborhood data for my area. What's the tweak or software you used to 'backwards' check the XML. I'd like to plug in a couple of WOEID's and checking what data is there for city2 etc...
    TIA

    Then why the hell doesn't Apple put Weather.app on iPads?!?! SO freakin' frustrating.. No stocks.app either... uggh. Why the hell not?!

    I use the Fixed method
    Insert WOEID and change Location to Fixed

    Then you can just look at the widgetweather.xml and see what it says for whatever values you're looking for

    Who knows why no weather app on iPad....
    I guess it's more integrated to Siri so they left the libraries and functions for that

    Widget Weather & BatteryStats (kinda iOS 7 styled)

    Interested?

    Has an option to turn off BatteryStats if you don't use the tweak.
    Also when it's set to false, BatteryStats is not "hidden" its not running at all

    BatteryStats as false

    Gotta clean it up still. Was an early version I did. Needs some changes and city options added in the js.
    Might have time tomorrow morning to work it out.
