    Since WW draws from it, I found leaving the weather.app one on also causes WW to stick. So it stays off for me.
    Here to help if I can. If I can't I know someone who can!

    Default Yahoo LS version 2.3
    Hi @ll,

    New version of my widget.

    Main changes :
    - Added 2 snow conditions (light & heavy).
    - Added a scattered thunderstorms conditions.
    - Change the transition between forecast pages,
    - Correction for the inches of mercury format.
    - Now, there is a random choice for weather walls (each weather condition has 4 day wallpapers and 4 night wallpapers).

    Huge thanks to MJ, Simon, Marty and John for their collection of wallpapers.

    As always, thx to all the WW team (Durben, King, Simon, Marty, John, Chevy, Joel, Jato,...), Matt Clarke, for his awesome convergance tweak, and Ian Nicoll.

    Awesome work Dacal and thank you very much for sharing!

    I've been trying to mod/learn some code by tinkering with (mostly breaking and then restarting) these fantastic toys you folks share. When I look at this widget on my laptop with chrome I can't get my local weather to display. I'm sure there is some place I need put in the woeid or a zip code or ? Is that in the CSS or Java script, or ? I assume that in the config file I need to change var useextralocation too. I can go to Demo mode and see weather working but it would be more fun to see my weather....well sometimes

    Any directions/steps to add my local weather to this widget for playing/modding on my PC using chrome would be appreciated.

    Thanks for taking a minute to help me out! Ya'll rock!

    Matt

    Very easy to do.

    Copy your WidgetWeather.xml file into your base theme directory.

    Then open the config.js file and change:

    var XML_TEST = false;

    To

    var XML_TEST = true;

    Done!

    Make sure you used chrome tutorial as Marty stated above.

    Any questions, just ask.

    Thanks Marty! I knew I'd seen that somewhere! I'll start reading tonight.

    King, thanks for the "easy solution"! It makes me want to skip the reading and get on with breaking something! Can you give a rookie a bit more direction in tracking down the WW.xml file with ifile. Thanks fellas!

    Edit: Just found it! /var/mobile/Documents Carry on!

    Edit2: Working! That WAS easy, thanks!! The next portion of the tutorial describes changing the location.js to use gps or woeid....but there is no longer a location.js file. It seems to be in the main.js file but the code doesn't match the tutorial. What I'm wondering is do I have to manually sync over an updated ww.xml file or can it be coded to look elsewhere like gps or woeid and update automatically? It may be elsewhere in the tutorial....I'll keep reading.

    Awesome widget. For some reason I can't get the temp setting to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Any help?

    Editing the location.js is the old method. Don't worry about it. If you want a different location, just enter a woeid in the WW settings app and set to manual then wait till after the update interval to get data for that location. Then just copy over the new XML file.

    I may need to update the Chrome tutorial, thanks for the heads up.

    Dacal don't know if you noticed but all the way on the bottom there's a white line looks like if the weather images don't fit the size of the phone.ImageUploadedByModMyi1396525887.377116.jpg

    I don't have a white line on mine. Normally that means one of the elements is not showing, could be a mis-spelling or an image got deleted that should be there.

    Are you using lockhtml3?
    If you do did you check the coordinates in advanced settings to be 0?

    Yeah keep it mind because very easy change the coordinates especially if you hold the ls and start to move left and right!
