1.1.3 Artwork file editing Possible..

Hi i just want all to know that i was able to edit my other.artwork file at least partially. Studying IphoneShop code and the file itself i found out that the structure of other 1.1.1 and 1.1.3 are not so different, in fact the first third of the file is the same. The file contains 4 bytes, 3 represent R G B and the fourth is the alpha (Transparent byte). The problem is there are no widths and heights of each image. So the only way to figure it out is studying the artwork bytes in the file and then create the image and adjust accordingly. Not as easy as it sounds.
Now i could modify iphoneshop file and update it so it can extract and import the first 112 images, if Rtrisberg gives me the go ahead.
Because of my daily job i have little time to spear so it will take me a while to figure all the images on 1.1.3
Can anyone let me know if the other.artwork fil size is the same as 1.1.3

i was able to use the latest iphoneshop (.06) to unpack and repack an artwork file on 1.1.4 to make a dialer.

yes you can unpack the MobilePhonePackedImages artwork file which contains the dialer and the tabs but the latest iphoneshop is not coded to unpack the keybaord artwork or the other artwork because if the file size differs from those used inside the program it will give an error. I could implement these changes and ialso there are other images that can be changed after the 113th image i quoted before.... Aka the Bin and a few other.

From 1.1.4 are:
Keyboard-Common.artwork = 1.153.024 bytes
Keyboard-Japanese.artwork = 4.081.664 bytes
Keyboard-Latin.artwork = 16.574.464 bytes
Other.artwork = 3.393.984 bytes

the 1.1.4 files are identical to the 1.1.3 so it should work.
I am halfway decrypting these images. me eyes are going dizzy with all these hex numbers.
Dont i will get it finished.... Back to work now

The thing i miss the most about 1.1.1 is custom keyboards and custom other.artwork! keep up the good work and keep me posted please!

Yeah I ahve some great custom .artwork files that I had made in 1.1.2 that i would like to upgrade to the 1.1.4 and maybe see what was added to get a better idea.

I named this version 0.61

This program works for 1.1.4
Just finished adding keyboard common 1.1.3 / 1.1.4 structure in iphoneshop, nest to do is keyboard latin. gemme some time there boys....enjoy

Thanks for the files TechnopodMan, i finished the Keyboard common artwork and i am working on the latin artwork. This one is tough but not impossible, it takes time to study the file. Give me a few days , thanks for the moral support !!!!!
