Thread: Remove LS Slide to unlock

I have added a SpringBoard.strings files in each of the 4 folders with empty strings "" to no avail. Anyone got ideas? ImageUploadedByModMyi1363529559.205094.jpg

    u mean's remove text " slide to unlock" or?

    Yes, I ment to remove the string "slide to unlock" using winterboard.

    u can do it without wtb! see? follow me! in ifunbox or itools or ifile : system/library/coreservices/springboard/" your language" ex : English.lproj/Springboard.strings
    u find down "lable" and change any text you want!

    Yes, I believe that you can do it directly (by editing the stock file) which is what I want to avoid through the use of winterboard. Here is a screen shot of my current WB setup which is still not working.ImageUploadedByModMyi1363716300.058924.jpg

    Ok, problem solved. When I went to edit the SpringBoard.strings file through iFile I noticed a "." When I pressed the space button about 3 times in the empty string "". Strange. Now I understand why you were confused thanks for the assistance!
