Thread: Changing text in the settings page.

So I want to edit the .plist that has the text in the settings menu.. "General, Sounds, Brightness" and so on... I've bad no lock so far searching. I'd like

    So I want to edit the .plist that has the text in the settings menu.. "General, Sounds, Brightness" and so on... I've bad no lock so far searching. I'd like to do this without winterboard.

    Anyone know where this or these reside?

    Nav to

    /var/Stash/Applications/Preferences.app

    You need to go into the language folder of your chosen default language.

    e.g English.lproj

    MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE MODDING JUST INCASE.

    Then you need to open up the "Settings~iphone.strings"

    If you have iFile that is the easiest.

    Open it in "Property List Viewer"

    Then on the left you have the Label and on the right the text displayed.

    Just mod areas you need and save.
