Theming Siri

Hey there, first time poster.

Before iOS 6, the background for siri was located in the springboard folder and was called AssistantLinen_2only_@2x~iphone

and the image/mask for the bottom fade was AssistantMagicPocket_2only_@2x~iphone

In iOS6, those images are no longer there.

Anybody know where the siri images are? I'd like to theme siri via winterboard.

I actually had figured it out a while later.

they are called

AssistantLinen_2only_-568h@2x~iphone.png
AssistantMagicPocket_2only_@2x~iphone.png

they're located in root/system/library/springboardplugins/assistant.uibundle

in case anybody was wondering.

At this stage SIRI is only being themed via recompiling the 181 images as the [email protected]k file. So not as the standalone pngs as you would with the [email protected]k or as UIImages in WB.

This I believe is a WB issue at this stage

SIRI is the [email protected] file located in /System/Library/SpringBoardPlugins/assistant.uibundle

on extracting the artwork files. It can mess with your head just getting Python up and running but I've found it to be ten times easier on a Windows based machine!

I have been working on a Star Trek Siri theme and I have the images compiled, but I need assitance in the .artwork format to then place it where it needs to be to work correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me.

If using WB it goes in your Bundle folder named

com.apple.assistant.Assistant

To fully understand what other files go in there

Nav to

/System/Library/SpringBoardPlugins/Assistant.uibundle

That is the home of Siri & majority of the additional files that also need themed.
