The facts: I'm working on an iPhone 3GS on 5.1.1. I used iPhoneBrowser to save sms.db to my desktop. Did a clean restore of OFW 5.1.1. Jailbroke with Absinthe 2.04. Replaced sms.db at /var/mobile/Library/SMS.
When I open the sms app it's still empty, and I'm not sure why. I open the sms.db file with notepad and I can see the messages still exist. What exactly am I doing wrong? I've searched for a solution, but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for...Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can I thank myself? LOL! I finally found what I was looking for in this post: Addressbook.sqlitedb and sms.db on iOS 5. Upgrading problems.Last edited by Kareen; 08-28-2012 at 03:26 PM.
