Thread: Hide Multitasking Tray Labels

    Default Hide Multitasking Tray Labels
Hey guys, I'm new here (and to the Jailbreak community as a whole) and am looking for a little help. I want my dock and multitasking tray to have no icon labels, but for my homescreen app labels to be left as they were.

At the moment, it seems Winterboard ships with the option to hide either docked or undocked labels, with the multitasking tray classified in the "undocked" category. Is there any way to get more granular control of this - either with or without Winterboard? I'm not really sure of what to search for.

    Thanks, Ed

There is Springtomize which allows to hide dock labels and stay with the SB icon labels and vice versa. I'm sure if you hide SB icon labels multitasking bar labels will go as well

Thanks for the suggestion, but if I'm understanding you correctly, that's not what I want. Right now through Winterboard I can have the multitasking labels disappear if I have the springboard labels gone.

I want the springboard labels, but don't want the multitasking tray labels

No tweaks for this, 100% positive. Springtomize can't even do this (which is kinda sad...)

Thanks for the response, even if it's a little saddening. I suppose I'll just have to deal with those pesky labels

    Still no tweak for this?

Nope, unless they've added some new features to the older Springtomize versions? (I'm assuming you're on iOS 6 or below). But yeah, I doubt it exists.

On a sidenote, I get to see a post I made 2 years ago xD

I'm on iOS 7 and even Springtamize 3 has no option for it.

You could try to send in a feature request to the developer and see what he says, it wouldn't be hard for them to implement.

If your referring to hiding the labels under icons that are in the app switcher, then shrink has an option to do that. Only issue I found when trying it was that if you use some kind of badge tweak for altering the position of badges on icons, then it will affect that by putting them back to their original default position.
