How Do I Change Push Notification Decription?!

I've looked everywhere for how to do this, but to no avail. It shouldn't be that difficult to accomplish.

What I am using:
iPhone 4S
iFile

What I want to do:
Change the "New Kik Message!" text string I get when I get a push notification from the app. I've looked everywhere in the Kik.app file for it.

Please help!

You can edit the text by navigating to the directory: /var/Mobile/Applications/Kik/Kik.app/en.lproj/Localizable.strings

That is where you can change all the messages Kik displays.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I went there and searched for "new" and never saw that string anywhere in that file.

You have to look a bit harder. My device is dead right now so I cannot find it. But every single string of text Kik displays is in that file so just look a bit harder

Okay thanks. I don't know why I couldn't find it by searching one of the words in the string.

Sometimes they're a bit different. I don't use Kik personally but it's really better to find keywords yourself. Just my experience though

Thanks a lot for the help, but I've been through that file up and down several times and I haven't found anything near what I'm looking for. Where could it be?!

Oh sorry I forgot to look at this topic! I looked at the files for about 15 minutes. I used the property list viewer to make sure. I'm guessing that part is server based meaning it can only be shown or done by the server. I couldn't find it all, so unless you were some type of 1337 h4ck3r, you can't change it.
