Thread: My iPad turns off without the "slide to power off"!

Exclamation My iPad turns off without the "slide to power off"!
When I press and hold the power button it turns off automatically similar to QuickPowerDown tweak(I didn't install it). Is there any file I can edit to fix this. Please help.

Check settings>activator>anywhere>Sleep Button: Short hold and see what it is assigned to. If it isn't assigned to anything, then I'm not sure what your problem is.

Notice it happening after installing anything in specific? If what donuts said isn't the case, try seeing what could be causing it. I doubt it but it can still be the case.

I had already done that but there wasn't something assigned to it, although if it would, it wouldn't turn off like that since its a short hold. Yes I installed a siri port and after uninstalled it because it didn't work, it seems as if it over wrote some files.

Thats odd. Try setting the short hold to something else in activator and see if it still does this. If that doesn't work, next try actually installing QuickPowerDown, but turn off the tweak in settings.

Siri ports are always problems.... Make sure all the files are gone as well.
