How do you change boot logo without Animate (5.0.1)?
My question is, how do you change the boot logo (non animated) without animate/animate fix for 5.xx? I don't like the new animate fix because it causes the device to go into safe mode after boot up. I have some really cool png's from when you could change your boot logos using sn0wbreeze back in the day. I am using an iPhone 4. I found the stock iOS boot logo png's but there are multiple files (all different), like it is supposed to be animated on stock iOS. Anybody have any idea how to do this?

Hmm, my iPhone 4 seems to reboot fine with animate fix and a boot logo installed. Maybe there's a different issue causing Safe Mode?

And the boot logos boots up just fine. It's just after it loads up and is supposed to go to LS I get the circular loader and instead of booting up to my normal jail broken LS it LS in safe mode. You sure you don't have that issue?

Yes, an iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. I get the circular loader after the bootlogo, but it goes to my normal lockscreen with LockInfo etc.

Ok I've narrowed down the issue.
1.) when I initially installed animate I ONLY chose Animate Fix which automatically installs Animate with it. What I've seen and heard you need to separately install them. First, Animate. Second, Animate Fix 4.x/5.x
2.) it either conflicts with Cascade or Infinidock tweaks.
NOTE: after doing this I no longer startup in safe mode. I still get that loading circle after boot logo but it doesn't go into safe mode.

I just found out yesterday that ih8sn0w updated the animate fix 4.x/5.x and it works perfectly. I'm using a boot logo on my iPhone 4 5.0.1.
