I jail broke my iPhone 4 ios5 last night and can't get the custom boot screen and signal bars to work. What do I need to do?

For the boot logo, there's nothing you can do - it was specific to greenpois0n, so it only worked up to 4.3.1 I believe. Any jailbreak for 4.3.3 and beyond does not currently have the bootlogo capability.

As for the signal bars, that is a flaw inherent with the limera1n exploit and the only way to fix it is with ultrasn0w (if ultrasn0w will work with your phone). Otherwise, you'll only see 0 or 1 bars.
