HTC Weather Widget changing calendar icon size

I recently upgraded from 4.3 to the 5.0.1.
For some reason the calendar icon shrank. I have made adjustments in iFile to the info.plist to change the font successfully. I have swapped out calendar icons to the original one (it did not shrink) and then to a random one (it shrank). I believe the .plist file needs to be modified.
Please advise if any additional information is required.

Update: it's not the .plist file. I renamed it and the issue was not resolved.
