Over the past day all I've been hearing is that a Siri port is now legally possible. But how can I get it for my iPhone (3Gs)? Is there a Cydia package or anything?

What they mean is that they can now legally access the files for Siri, which will in theory make porting it much easier. However there is no viable port out at this time.

There is a group out there working on a port called i4Siri. It will use the Siri GUI, but it will NOT call apples servers at all. Instead the people making it are setting up a dedicated server that will be the backend. I'm thinking it's gonna have to be amazing to hand every iPhone 4, iPad, and iPod touch calling to it, but it's the most likely hope. At least more likely than cracking through apples authentication schemes.

Not recommended by devs because of the information sent to these servers.

People are starting to use Siri proxy servers to make Siri talk. Talk to Str4y on this forum if you'd like to know more. Prices are like $40/year?
