First of all,
I have an iPhone4 (GSM)
And I'm sem-tethered on iOS5.0.1

Now for my question

After scavenging the net, I noticed that if you alter
the RegionalVolumeLimits.plist in
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework
(now in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MediaToolbox.framework)

and change the keys to a higher value
Example
<key>D</key>
* <real>0.82999999999999996</real>

change it to
<key>D</key>
* <real>25</real>

For each key, and reboot, it's supposedly allows you to surpass
The factory set volume limit for your speakers

I have tried this, and haven't noticed a significant (if any) change in the volume
being put out through my speakers (or headphones) and I was wondering if this tweak still
worked in iOS5

I was also wondering if the iP4S put out more decibals than
previous iP models because of a software change, or was strictly a
straightforward hardware upgrade
