How do you modify the Capacity text field in the Settings>General>About>Capacity. I want to change it to say 1337gb.
I know about the Fake About Screen mentioned in this thread, but it has compatibility issues with many ios5 cydia apps. So thats a no go. It makes applications like the Settings and Phone app Crash.
Ive heard you can modify it in the NxxAP.plist in this thread
Code:
system/library/coreservices/springboard.app

however, I do not see any text field for capacity. So I dont understand how the OPs problem was solved.
Additionally I saw a thread here, that said the following directories contained the plist but I cant find it:
Code:
var/stash/Applications/preferences.app
var/preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
I have also found an alternative application called Fake 3.1.3[external] which fakes the firmware in the about screen and in itunes. Though I still have yet to dig up the .deb file for it. I doubt itll work with ios5.
Can someone shed some light please? Particularly where do I edit for the capacity?
To clarify the question where exactly is the plist to edit the Capacity text about field?
