Dark Blue battery & ssh??

I have never felt the need to jailbreak my iPhone (have had the 3g, 3gs & currently the 4) and don't even know if this is jailbreaking. But I just came across the download Dark Blue battery. On the dl page there are 2 installation instructions :
1) how to install if no theme:
1-create a folder ( name it what you like )
2-inside that folder create another folder called "Folders"
3-inside that create "SpringBoard.app"
4-drop the battery in there and ssh the folder into your iphone or ipod!
(I have no idea how to ssh ! or how to create "SpringBoard.app" even tho' before doing this I searched this site for "SpringBoard.app" to no avail.

and the 2nd instruction said this:

2)Like most themes, it should live in 'ROOT\Library\Themes'
"then 'FolderName\Folders\Springboard.app\' so total path in-case anyone was wondering, should be "ROOT\Library\Themes\FolderName\Folders\Springboar d.app\" and then all PNG's should be in there.

After downloading the battery I followed #1, steps 1-partial 4 (up to the ssh part). For step 1 of this I created a folder called Themes in my Root->Library folder (in that folder I created a folder named Folders, within that I created a Springboard folder & in that Themes folder I placed the blue battery folder (full of many png images & a Thumbs db unix executable file).

Can someone tell this this feeble mind which turns I missed?

SSH is a protocol for using one machine to access another (in this case, using your computer to access your phone). You cannot SSH into an iPhone without first jailbreaking.
