Idea for Cydia Notifications indicator tweak/mod

Hi,
I have an idea for those gifted Cydia programmers.
The idea is to display some sort of indication that there are pending notifications in the notification center that have not been seen to (missed calls, messages, calendar/reminder alerts ...).
I have attached an animated GIF that shows a sliding notification type marker behind the status bar clock.
Would be nice if some Cydia programmer could implement this.
Click on the thumbnail to see the animation in full resolution (focus on the clock in the status bar).
When all the notifications have been viewed and/or dismissed, the indication would no longer appear in the status bar.

Think of it like a flashing red light on your home phone that tells you you have voice mail messages waiting.
