How to remove custom sounds from winterboard theme?

I have a winterboard theme that I have been using for a while and I absolutely love the look, but the sounds that come with it are getting quite annoying, I would like to use the original iPhone sounds.
I already researched ways to do this and I found that you should use iFile to delete the UISounds folder (or the files in it) to do this, but every time I do that, my springboard crashes.
Any other ideas?
