    Default Carrier Logos Help!

    Hi, did anyone tried to change the default carrier logos in IOS 5?
    Seems that the old procedure in IOS 4 don't seem to work in IOS 5!
    Please say something, if u manage to change them please! tnkx

    I believe you can still change the carrier name via springboard strings. As to an image, I'm not entirely sure how to do that if the old method isn't working. I'll look into that.

    Hmm can you change the strings for iPhones, or just iPods? Any details on what to modify? I've only changed the images before!

    I'm poking around the carrier bundle. So far I found the status bar string and the default/fso images but changing them hasn't done a thing. Maybe a reboot is required but I can't do that as I'm traveling home from California. I'll try more tonight.

    Changing the images and rebooting doesn't work, rebooted a few times since i swapped them to no affect.

    fakecarrier in cydia works okay in ios 5, sometimes requires a respring. Is good enough for now... "vodafone UK" is just too long, lose the damn wifi symbol when its unlocked!
