change carrier logo to graphic on vz iphone?

Hi, Ive searched all over to find out how to change the carrier logo to a graphic logo on the verizon iphone. it seems anyone doing this is always using att. but I have not seen a thread saying it cant be done either, Ive been using fake carrier to change the text there. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Go to the following directory:

root/private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Zeppelin_US.bundle

or

/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Zeppelin_US.bundle


I had to edit the carrier.plist file with the following code:

Look for this code:

<key>StaticNATType</key>
	<integer>448</integer>

Add the following string on the next line:

<key>StatusBarImages</key>
	<array>
		<dict>
			<key>AllowPrefixMatching</key>
			<false/>
			<key>CarrierName</key>
			<string>Verizon</string>
			<key>DefaultImage</key>
			<string>Default_CARRIER_Zeppelin_US.png</string>
			<key>FullScreenOpaqueImage</key>
			<string>FSO_CARRIER_Zeppelin_US.png</string>
			<key>StatusBarCarrierName</key>
			<string>Verizon</string>
		</dict>
	</array>

Add the .png files to the folder listed above.

Respring device.

if you get in trouble, you can go to itunes and allow a "Carrier settings update" to return to orig settings

Note, if you reboot your phone it will automatically get reset to stock images and you will have to redo it. i have not found a way around this yet.
