    Default Airplay Speakers

    Hi,

I heard that it was possible to mod your iPhone or iPad so it behaves like an Airplay Speaker (i.e. play music on your PC and the sound is played on your iPhone instead)

Everything seems to say that it is for 4.2.

Is this available for 4.3, and if it is how do I do it?

I installed the Airplay Speaker from Cydia and it doesn't seem to do anything.

Also, is it possible to use an iPhone as an Airplay Speaker for an iPad?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, I managed to get this working (yay )

The way I did it was to remove the AirPlay speaker that I installed from cydia and follow this guide.

I did it on my iPad and my iPhone 3GS and I can now play music on my iPad which is stored on my laptop (by using the home sharing feature) and have the sound coming out of my iPhone which is plugged into a dock with a louder speaker.

    Ain't technology grand
