I changed some of my files on my iphone and I forgot to do backups, does anyone have an iPhone 3GS with original files and can ssh into their iphone?
I need all of the following files :
1. N88AP.plist in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
2. General.plist in /Applications/Preferences.app/
3. Settings.plist in /Applications/Preferences.app/
4. com.apple.springboard.plist in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
What you are asking is extremely illegal. Apple states that you cannot copy or distribute any of their product files. In this case, apple owns N88xx.plist and everything in iphone 3gs. I suggest you restore unless you want apple to sue you for all yoy have. Including your little iphone 3gs. So which one, thousands of dollars taken away, or a 15 min restore and jailbreak session? Hard choice.
I know Im not part of Modmyi but I dont think this website will have any tolerance for illegal distibution.

Or you can unpack the firmware that you still have stored on your computer and look there. But please, don't say that MMi users don't want to help. Nothing could be more untrue, though comments such as yours don't make anyone want to rush right out and help you simply because you forgot to back up files.
