Default iTunes Restore Errors 3194, 1600, 1015, 1013, etc.: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

I assume this has been created a thousand times before but here goes another one!!!

This is for those of you that are getting Errors while trying to Restore your iDevice.

    Most common Errors include: 3194, 1600, 1015, 1013

If you get a 1013 or 1015, you might be closer to reenabling your iDevice than you think!

Use TinyUmbrella or RecBoot to 'EXIT RECOVERY' (or exit 'Recovery Mode' as it's called).

    -TinyUmbrella: http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/
    -RecBoot:
    http://jaxov.com/2010/05/recboot-iphone-recovery-mode/-----------------------------------

For all other Errors, follow these instructions:

-First, download TinyUmbrella for your Computer

-Second, follow the appropriate link below to learn how to Edit HOSTS File:

    --Windows - http://support.ecenica.com/domain-na...e-mac-windows/
    --Mac -
    ---Easy Method: http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2009...osts-file.html---Advanced Method: http://support.ecenica.com/domain-na...e-mac-windows/
-Third, download the firmware you need from:

    http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

***If your downloaded Firmware/IPSW is in .zip format, change the .zip extension to .ipsw***

    -Open TinyUmbrella

    -Save your SHSH files

    -Go to the ADVANCED tab

    -UNCHECK the Cydia/Hosts box

    -EDIT your Hosts file by:
--Removing the '74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com' string. (Remember: Vista or Win 7 users need to open the HOSTS file as an Administrator)

-SAVE-SAVE-SAVE the edited file! BTW, you need to Save! ;-)

    -REBOOT your computer

-CHECK the Hosts file again to verify it was saved correctly
    -----------------------------------

    -Plug in your iPhone

    -Open TinyUmbrella again

    -START TSS Server

-***For Custom Firmwares ONLY: Enter PwnDFU Mode with sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool***

    -Open iTunes

-Shift (Windows) or Option (Mac) and Click RESTORE

    -Locate your Firmware/IPSW

    -Restore your phone

-If you get a 1013 or 1015 Error, select 'EXIT RECOVERY' in TinyUmbrella

    You should be Restored!!!

first i make custom firmware with snowbreeze 2.6 and get my fone in dfu mode and i saw snowbreeze exploiting ireb to my fone....then i started tinyumbrella tss server and open itunes to shift+restore in itune , after extracting and verifying itunes give error 1600 and says my fone is in recovery mode ..i tried 4-5 times but can't go with it....iphone screen is black and itune is detecting it.....still with error 1600
some one help me out what the hell with it.....

    power + home 10sec
release power but home 20 sec dfu mode i used.....

my phone is still showing black screen and whenever i plug in itunes detect it...that's my iphone is in DFU mode....

what error's are you getting when trying to restore to 4.3.3? if you have tinyumbrella try turning off set hosts to cydia in the advanced tab and then restoring to 4.3.3

It would have been better to preserve your baseband with a custom firmware instead of using the ipad baseband. You could have save your gps.
