NMMA (No More Music App)
I always see people asking the same question over & over, "how do I get the iPod app on my iPod touch?". Today I am going to answer that question for you. This is my first tutorial on ModMyi's forums, so take it easy on me

Below is simple step by step instructions including basic info. If you have a question or would like to simply thank me, feel free to reply!
Level guide - 1=easy 5=difficult.
For: iPod touch
Difficulty Level: 3
Tools Needed: SSH program. (iFile is suggested.)
1. Launch iFile or your SSH program, and browse to var/stash/Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app
2. Find the file called "Info.plist" & open/edit it.
3. Search for "unified" and you should be taken to a line saying unified-ipod. Below that line, it should say "<true/>". Edit the word true to false. It should now say "<false/>".
4. Search for "unified" again, and you should be taken to the exact same thing, just on another line. Below unified-ipod should be "<false/>". Change the word false to true. That should now say "<true/>".
5. Save the updated Info.plist file & respring or reboot your iPod touch.
You should now see the iPod app, and the Music & Videos all should be gone!
Enjoy
Could a mod please move this to the iPod touch forums? Just noticed I posted this in the iPhone forums. Sorry!Last edited by iOS Modifier; 04-24-2011 at 06:55 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
