Default View password in mobile terminal

I changed my password in mobile terminal a little while back ago and now I am trying to connect with WinSCP and I can't connect. I was wondering if there is a way to view my password. I know what I changed it to but I would like to look at it to make sure. I aside from the password I can't think of why it isn't connecting.

If I remember correctly, just type in "su root" to obtain permissions. When prompted enter ur root password, u will be denied permission if it's not correct!

if your password does not work in terminal, you will have to reset it using a method that works like this :
if you have a program which already has root access, you should be able to use that privilege to your advantage, because cydia does not require a password to install applications, and modify a file to change it back to alpine

I tried it and it worked. My password is what I thought it was. Thank you for the suggestion.

I couldn't connect last time and I just checked it through terminal and j was using the right password. I can't think of what was wrong. I saved my session from the last time I was connected and all I had to do was put the password. It just wasn't working. I'll try it again and see if I get the same error.

I was finally able to get it to go. The issue was that my computer wasn't seeing my phone and I did a little research on it and somebody mentioned that I you have a lot of things in your camera roll that aren't pictures taken with you camera the computer has a hard time finding. I looked in my camera roll and I had a YouTube video I had moved there with ifile. Upon deleting it and plugging my phone back in, my computer found my phone immediately. Thanks for everyone's help.

Yeah! Lol, it's funny when they want to race and you can hear their RPMs redlining trying to catch up!
