is there any way to remove the photos icon without deleting the app itself? i tried using categories but for some reason the photos icon doesn't show up when i try to add it into a category. hope someone can help. thanks!!
On 4.2.1 it seems like Photos doesn't show up in a lot of places so it can't be hidden.
You can downgrade, or you can disable the app. But I wouldn't recommend it bc it might permanently disable the app even if you rename it back to normal.
So either don't mess with it, downgrade your device, or lock the photos.app if that's why you want to hide it.
Edit: though you can still access pics from the camera so....but yeah.
