Newbie jailbreaker: Get a dl from MMi onto iPhone 4; help plz!

Am just learning the jailbreak stuff and new to this site; can someone please explain to me how to get items I downloaded from this site onto my iphone? For example, I downloaded a few dialers and batteries into a folder with all the crapola I sync to my cell...Synced it; now what?

You need to download a program called WinScP and likewise another program from Cydia called OpenSSH from Cydia. These two programs allow your PC and your iPod to be linked wirelessly. Once you've got that set up, find your wifi networks IP adress, toss it in. Your username will be root and your password alpine. After the connection proceed, navigate to /private/var/stash/Themes.[numbers] and just drag your theme folders from your PC into it.

Ok thanks. I had a friend do the jailbreaking for me lol so can u tell me where would I look to see if I have either of those apps/programs on my phone already?

You need OpenSSH from Cydia on your iPhone.

Then you need a SSH client from your computer. Either WinSCP or iFunBox will work. With iFunBox its probably easier for a beginner to use. For this you will also need afc2add from Cydia (it might already be installed, check in Cydia>manage>packages).

After installing those, install ifunbox on your computer.

Then you would open it and be able to access your phone files to find your downloads and put them in the right folder.

Dialer themes and battery themes go in this path on your phone:

Root/var/stash/themes.xxxx

Then enable them in Winterboard (if you don't have this on your phone you should download it) and respring.

You'd go to Cydia and hit the manage tab. Tap the first button which says Packages and scroll down to The O's. If you see OpenSSH, your iPod is set. I not, search for it on Cydia. Chances are, its in the BigBoss or the ModMyI repo (if you don't know what that is, don't worry about it). WinSCP is something you more than likely DO NOT have on your computer and you'll have to download.
