Killall package appears to be missing
I have installed a few themes, but they will not load. When i look at their dependencies, all the ones that won't load are dependent on two packages that are unchecked: killall and pincrush. I have reinstalled both, resprung, rebooted, searched the web, but i can't find anything to fix this problem. Can anyone give me an idea what to try next? Thanks.

erm try reinstalling the themes in question, i cant imagine why it isnt working... have you got summerboard mode on in winterboard?
01-24-2011, 07:40 AM #5
I appreciate the help, but that didnt do it, either. I reinstalled three of them, then resprung, but nothing. Summerboard is turned on. I dont see anything in the theme info pages about them not working with firmware 4.0.2, so i doubt if thats it.
If youre interested in testing it, here are a few of the themes that do not work for me: zelda battery, chromium keyboard, rp4k lockinfo, and mario (nintendo) dialer.

what device are you using? retina display?
01-24-2011, 08:14 AM #7
Yes, iphone 4.
01-24-2011, 08:24 AM #8
lol well thats why, these themes arent HD
01-24-2011, 08:50 AM #9
Oh. Does it say that somewhere within the cydia/icy page for the theme? I didnt see it anywhere. I'd like to know how to tell, so i can avoid them in the future. Thanks for the help.

yh i know its really annoying, most HD themes say HD or retina or iphone/ipod4 in the name.. the easiest way to tell (once youve downloaded the theme) is to look at its contents, if the images have @2x after them theyre for rwtina display

Thanks a bunch! So, i'm not seeing any way to view the image names on the phone - i'm guessing i'll need to ssh into the file system from my pc to see that?

u can use ifile or findfile on your device, or if your ssh'ing i suggest using ifunbox it makes things easy brcause you just plug in and you can connect

Thanks. I just got ifile, and i think it should do the trick. Any idea where theme files are stored? I dont have much experience with unix or mac os directory structures.
