Manually delete installed package ?

Hi,

i installed minicom package that i've downloaded from here using PuTTY by SSH (i didn't find it on Cydia repo), and then when i browse to the letter M into Installed Packages on cydia, the program (Cydia) crashes

when i try the command dpkg -r minicom through PuTTY i got this error message : dpkg - warning: ignoring request to remove minicom wich isn't installed.

So my question is when should I browse (using iFile) to delete the package manually ?

EDIT : problem solved, i deleted com.evilpenguin.com package
