getting notes sync to work again on iOS4.1

on iOS 4.1 on the iPod touch 2G apple disabled the notes sync function from iOS 4.0 and 4.0.2.

I have iOS 4.0 on my iPod (just from an experiment, I will be reinstalling iOS 4.1 later) , and I really need the notes sync function to work on iOS 4.1. But I dont want to keep iOS 4.0 on my iPod, because it sucks. Is there a certain file (or files) that I can save from the current iOS4.0 install and re-implant in the iOS 4.1 install that would enable notes syncing on iOS 4.1?

Apple removed notes syncing on 4.1! I thought GP removed it. Dam Apple!
