I have a problem with my iPod touch 4G.
I disabled apple multitasking so I could use backgrounder.
After that I deleted the theme (the theme that disabled the multitasking) but I didn't now it would stay forever.
Now I wanna use apple multitasking, because I heard good things about it, but how do I re enable it.
I know it's the file /system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/N82AP.plist
But what do I have to change in that file?
i don't think it's the n82ap.plist since that is for iphone 3g and equivalent ipod touch(i don't have an ipod so i don't know which model) and multitasking was available only for 3gs and later models, so they put that capability in n88ap.plist
find the line <key>multitasking</key>
below you should find </false>..change it to true
i'm using windows and for that there is plist editor for windows(google it)
if you cannot find that key, just insert it
it should look something like this:
<key>multitasking</key>
</true>
I have the same setup. I have the disable multitasking theme for winterboard and in place am using backgrounder+multifl0w.
I just tested it and it worked to bring native multitasking back. Don't know if you've tried this specifically but maybe give it a go since it works for me.
First, reinstall the disable multitasking theme. Go to winterboard and select it. Respring. Then, go back to winterboard and unselect it. Respring. Then go to Cydia and uninstall it. Then either remove backgrounder and multifl0w, or disable those two in sbsettings under more>mobilesubstrate addons. Respring. It should work then.
Here's a tip! Download ifile from Cydia and use it to find the neccessary file and you can use the built in text editor to edit the neccessary file. I'm not sure what file it is but try searching on google for enable multitasking on iphone 3g I'm pretty sure it's very similar to the iphone 4 and 3gs 4.2.1 firmware.
